Chris is our Managing Director and leads the delivery of our holistic financial planning solution, making high-quality advice accessible to everyone - not just the financially savvy. With a background in education, his time as a Lecturer of Business & Economics revealed a widespread lack of financial literacy and guidance, which inspired him to build a solution that bridges this gap. In 2020, he chose to pursue a career in financial services.
Chris has taken his passion for business and paired this with first-hand experience to create a solution that tackles the 'advice gap' head-on. His aim is to empower individuals and families with the knowledge, tools, and ongoing support they need to make confident financial decisions and secure their long-term futures. Amongst other areas, Chris has built a reputation across the oil & gas industry for his honest and invaluable advice, providing them with the opportunity to reduce their tax burden and save for a comfortable retirement. With close family connections to the industry, he has been able to apply his own understanding to manage the expectations of clients in this sector.
Aside from the demands of running a busy financial planning business, Chris hosts a monthly event with Southport Business Group, which brings local business owners and entrepreneurs together to socialise and encourage collaboration. He enjoys spending his free time travelling with partner Amy, attempting to improve his golf game and socialising in our vibrant hometown of Birkdale Village.
Fore Financial Planning was built in response to industry observations since 2020. Too many local practices were found to offer only general financial advice, often adopting a one-size-fits-all approach. This highlighted the need for a more holistic and personalised service that addresses each client's unique motivations, goals, and aspirations - something that we achieve through face-to-face interaction and a deeper appreciation of individual circumstances.
Our business is particularly passionate about supporting families, helping them secure their financial futures and achieve their long-term goals. This commitment to personalised service also resonates with business owners, busy professionals, and those working in the offshore oil and gas sector. The firm aims to continue expanding its services and, in particular, to make a greater impact in the local area of Merseyside, where our new head office was opened in early 2025.
